Craig Schuttenberg has over 35 years’ experience in the energy industry. His experience ranges from working in the oil fields from Arabia to the northern climate of Alaska to being the Director of Energy Planning and Management for the University of Chicago from 1991-1998. In 1998, he began working in deregulated energy procurement to help large commercial and institutional customers in the Chicago area use energy more wisely and procure energy more cost-effectively. Over time, his passion has expanded to include sustainable activities that balance our impact on the environment through implementing economic measures, while enhancing social justice. He is responsible for integrating our proprietary online reverse auction platform into Satori Energy’s national energy brokerage operations, and he is Satori’s Engineer of Record focusing on energy benchmarking, Energy Star Building Certifications, energy audits, and renewable energy and economic feasibility studies. Craig received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University and his MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
