About Anna

Anna M. Baluyot is Satori Energy's Executive Vice President as well as the Managing Partner of Select Energy Partners, and Co-President of EnergyNext. Ms. Baluyot is a proven energy industry executive and leader, with over 25 years of extensive experience on both the supply and demand sides of the industry. Anna engages herself primarily in business development and general business management focused on the exceptional delivery of the companies' energy consulting and energy procurement services. Ms. Baluyot has spearheaded Select Energy’s electricity aggregation business, forging business relationships with over 50 communities in Illinois. Anna manages the day-to-day EnergyNext business which focuses on the procurement of electric, natural gas, solar and small hydro commodities for over 280 municipalities including 35 counties, cities, villages, towns, school districts.

Ms. Baluyot began her professional career as a marketing engineer at ComEd, where she was responsible for overseeing the design and delivery of electrical service for large commercial and industrial clients. Later, as a Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst, Anna evaluated firms for potential merger or acquisition strategies. Ms. Baluyot concluded her career at ComEd as a wholesale energy trader, where she was responsible for making optimum use of the corporation's generation assets by selling and purchasing energy and transmission products for the native load requirements of one of the largest utilities in the country.

After her departure from ComEd, Ms. Baluyot has helped to launch the presence of two alternative suppliers in the Illinois retail electricity market where she was responsible for structuring, negotiating, and closing fixed and managed commodity products as well renewable bundled options to the governmental, industrial, and institutional sectors. Ms. Baluyot's executive management has been instrumental in leading several consulting firms in the delivery of power plant development, energy efficiency and demand response services. Anna earned a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Loyola University, and a Master of Public Affairs in Finance and Systems Administration from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University.
