David C. Wiers, President of Satori Energy, announced today that Satori Energy has acquired Midland, Texas-based WTX Power.

This acquisition, the fifth by Satori Energy in the past two years, continues Satori’s pattern of targeted growth. The transaction follows the acquisitions of Public Utility Brokers, Goby’s procurement division, Velocity Energy Group, and EnergyNext, Inc. Wiers commented, “Satori’s proprietary method of adding value through the procurement process for clients continues to grow and prosper in the marketplace. It is a proven system and clients continue to trust Satori for their energy needs.”

Patrick Hughes, Founder of WTX Power stated, “WTX Power was built on strong business relationships and focusing on the customer. I know that our clients will be pleased with Satori’s back-office support and Satori follows our model of working together with clients to achieve the most economical supply arrangement available in the marketplace. This is very exciting for our clients.”

The transaction closed in August 2015.
